It’s that time of year when we never seem to have enough time. December 1st we published our Under the Mistletoe Collection of novellas. I wrote a romantic comedy called Holly’s Noel for inclusion in that. Today I uploaded the final ebook copy of Claudia to be released on December 15th. I hope you can join me for the release party on Friday evening.  I’d love to have you there. I’ll be doing a couple of giveaways.

These past weeks have been busy from a writer’s perspective, but that hasn’t been all I’ve had going on. We have Christmas celebrations around the corner and even though I’m no longer involved in leading the youth group or the church choir, my world still gets crazy at this time of year. We moved into a new home in October and my son and his family of four (soon to be five) moved in with us. The children are a blessing, but they keep us hopping. My husband, Joe, and I are not used to all the excitement.

Thankfully, the Lord has blessed me with a few minutes of quiet time most mornings that I can spend with Him. That time of prayer and Bible reading helps me to keep my sanity. I hear people say how they don’t have time to spend in prayer or reading their Bibles, and all I can think is I don’t have time to neglect it. If I don’t spend those moments with God, then nothing else goes right. The cookies burn, the wrapping paper rips, the manuscript won’t convert, you get the idea… everything falls apart without God. If I take the time for Him, He guides me through my day. That isn’t to say I don’t have problems, but it makes the problems bearable.

I hope you’ll check out my latest releases, Holly’s Noel (part of the Under the Mistletoe collection) and Claudia (available for preorder now and releasing on Friday, December 15th.)Claudia Cover
